Program

Day 1: Arrival in Basel / Stuttgart (-/-/D)

Welcome to your adventure! After arriving in Basel or Stuttgart, you’ll be greeted by your guide and whisked away to your hotel. Enjoy a delightful welcome dinner, soaking in the atmosphere and flavours of the region.

Day 2: Excursion to the Enchanting Black Forest (B/-/D)

Kick off your day with a visit to a renowned glass factory in Wolfach, where you can explore the charming year-round Christmas village or browse the exquisite glass creations. Next, we’ll journey to Triberg, home to Germany’s highest waterfall—perfect for a leisurely stroll and some shopping. Don't miss the largest cuckoo clock on your way! Our final stop is the openair museum in Gutach, where history comes alive. Return to your hotel for a cozy dinner.

Day 3: Lakes & Freiburg Adventures (B/-/D)

After breakfast, we’ll head to Freiburg, the Black Forest's capital. A local guide will share fascinating stories about this vibrant city and its innovative rainwater system. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the picturesque Titisee and Schluchsee lakes, where you can savour a slice of the famous Schwarzwälder cake with coffee. If the weather permits, take a leisurely stroll along the lakeside before returning for dinner.

Day 4: Northern Treasures (B/-/D)

Today, we venture north! First, we’ll cross the border into France for a guided exploration of Strasbourg, where you’ll uncover both famous landmarks and hidden gems. Next, we’ll visit the charming spa town of Baden-Baden, known for its stunning parks and elegant architecture. Our day concludes at the historic Alpirsbach Abbey, where you’ll tour the brewery
and sample their delightful beer. Return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 5: Wine and Wonders West (B/-/D)

Prepare for a delightful day crossing into France, where rolling vineyards and charming villages await. We’ll start with a guided tour of Colmar, followed by free time to enjoy lunch. Then, we’ll head to Riquewihr to taste locally produced wines, before exploring the majestic Haut-Koenigsbourg fortress—don’t forget to capture the breathtaking views! Return to the
hotel for dinner.

Day 6: A Swiss Sojourn (B/-/D)

Today, we’ll explore the southern Black Forest, crossing over into Switzerland. Our journey begins in Basel, where a guided tour will introduce you to this cultural hub. Then, we’ll board a scenic boat along the Rhine to Rheinfelden, where we’ll visit the stunning Feldschlösschen brewery. After sampling their fine brews, we’ll continue to the breathtaking Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen before heading back to your hotel for dinner.

Day 7: Discovering the Eastern Black Forest (B/-/D)

The adventure continues in the eastern Black Forest! We’ll visit the source of the Danube before heading to Villingen for some leisurely exploration. Our next stop is Rottweil, famed for its historic old town and the highest viewing platform in Germany. Enjoy the stunning vistas before we make our way back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 8: Departure (B/-/-)

After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to check out and say goodbye. We’ll transfer you to the airport, filled with memories of your journey through the enchanting Black Forest, Switzerland, and Alsace.
