In the morning visit of the “Ice age Village” - built under scientific management of the University of Innsbruck. An open-air archaeological park, the visitors’ lives and way of life in the Neolithic Age, the time Oetzi’s meant to illustrate. Via the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road we reach South Tyrol/Italy. The trip trough the 2,509 m elevated Timmelsjoch tunnel through the Oetztaler glaciers into the South Tyrolean wine region trough the Passeier valley to Merano will be an unforgettable experience. The “Secret Gap” in the Alps or the direct route south brings laybys and panorama points on the way. Stop in the historical spa town of Merano and wine tasting in one of the typical South Tyrolean wineries. Dinner and overnight in Seefeld.
