Program

Day 1 | Arrival (-/-/D)

Arrive to Bratislava, where your local guide will meet you and accompany you for the transfer to the hotel. Welcome dinner will be at a local restaurant in Bratislava.

Day 2 | Bratislava (B/-/D)

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a selection of local and international options to fuel up for your day of exploration. Embark on a comprehensive city tour of Bratislava, where you'll explore the charming Old Town, visit key landmarks such as St. Michael's Gate, the Main Square, and the Bratislava City Hall. Your guide will provide historical insights and interesting  anecdotes about the city’s past and present. Post-lunch, head to Castle Devin, located about 10 kilometres from Bratislava. Explore the ruins and enjoy the scenic views where the Morava River  meets the Danube. The castle’s history dates back to Roman times, and it offers a picturesque setting perfect for some afternoon sightseeing and photo opportunities.

Day 3 | Vienna (B/-/D)

Start your day with a nutritious breakfast at the hotel to prepare for an exciting day ahead. Enjoy a scenic and relaxing ride along the Danube River, taking in the beautiful landscapes as you travel, when you arrive in Vienna enjoy guided city tour, exploring highlights such as the Ringstrasse, State Opera House, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, and the Hofburg Palace. Your guide will share fascinating
details about Vienna’s rich history and culture. After lunch, head to Schönbrunn Palace, a short journey from the city centre. Explore the grandeur of this magnificent palace, which was once the summer residence of the Habsburg emperors. Board your speed-boat for the return trip to Bratislava, enjoying the serene river journey back to your starting point.

Day 4 | Esterhazy Palace & Esztergom (B/-/D)

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel to start your day on the right foot. Check out from the hotel and begin your drive towards Budapest. The journey offers scenic views, so keep your camera handy. Arrive at Esterházy Palace in Eisenstadt, Austria. Explore this splendid Baroque palace, known for its elegant rooms, beautiful gardens, and historical significance. The palace is also famous for its association with the composer Joseph Haydn. Upon arrival in Esztergom, you’ll have some free time to explore the city at your own pace. Visit the Esztergom Basilica, one of the largest churches in Hungary, or wander through the charming streets and enjoy the local atmosphere. There are also a few quaint cafes where you can relax and have a light lunch or coffee. Arrive in Budapest and check in to your hotel. Take some time to freshen up and relax after your journey.

Day 5 | Budapest (B/-/D)

After breakfast begin your day with a guided tour of Budapest. During your tour will you see a few of Budapest’s highlight, Buda Castle, Matthias Church, Fisherman’s Bastion, Heroes’ Square, Andrassy Avenue and the Market Hall. Afternoon will be spent exploring the Parliament Buildung. Learn about the building’s history, its role in Hungarian politics, and the legislative process.
The Parliament has been the seat of Hungary’s National Assembly since 1902. Admire the intricate details of its exterior, including the spires, statues, and decorative elements. The building is a masterpiece of Gothic Revival architecture. This evening enjoy a short cruise on the Danube, “Budapest by night”.

Day 6 | Lake Balaton (B/-/D)

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Set out for a day tour of Lake Balaton, Hungary’s largest lake and a popular holiday destination. Arrive at one of the towns along Lake Balaton, such as Balatonfüred or Tihany. Enjoy a relaxing cruise on the lake, taking in the picturesque scenery and charming lakeside towns. Travel to Herend, renowned for its exquisite porcelain. Take a guided tour of the Herend Porcelain Factory to see the craftsmanship involved in creating these beautiful pieces. Learn about the  history and artistry of Herend porcelain, and perhaps even purchase a piece as a souvenir. Head back to Budapest after your visit to Herend.

Day 7 | Gödöllö castle & Puszta (B/-/D)

Have breakfast at your hotel before heading out for the day. Travel to Gödöllő, where you’ll visit the Gödöllő Castle, one of Hungary’s largest baroque palaces. The castle was a favourite summer residence of Empress Elisabeth (Sisi) of Austria. Enjoy a guided tour of the castle’s opulent rooms and learn about its history and royal connections. Depart for the Puszta, the Hungarian Great Plain known for its traditional rural landscapes and culture. Experience the unique charm of the Puszta. Activities might include a visit to a traditional Hungarian farm, watching a horse show, or exploring the vast open landscapes. You’ll get a taste of the rural way of life, which has been part of Hungarian culture for centuries. Enjoy a farewell dinner in a traditional setting, savour traditional Hungarian cuisine and celebrate the end of your memorable trip.

Day 8 | Departure (B/-/-)

After breakfast it’s time to check-out from the hotel and board the coach which will take us to the airport for the return flight home.
