Program

Day 1 | Arrival (-/-/D)

Arrive in Warsaw and check into your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can either relax at your hotel or take a brief stroll in the city centre to get a feel for Warsaw. Overnight Warsaw.

Day 2 | Warsaw (B/-/D)

Enjoy a hearty breakfast to start your day. Begin your tour at the Royal Castle, the historical residence of Polish monarchs. Explore the lavishly decorated rooms, including the Throne Room and the King’s Bedroom. Learn about its historical significance and restoration after World War II. Stroll through the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Admire the charming medieval architecture
and vibrant market square. Key sights include: Market Square & Barbican. Visit Łazienki Park, the largest park in Warsaw. Post-lunch you will gain insights into the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, which played a crucial role in Poland’s history during World War II. The museum offers interactive exhibits and detailed accounts of the uprising. And finish the day with a visit to the Vodka Museum to learn about the history of vodka in Poland and sample some varieties. Overnight Warsaw.

Day 3 | Torun & Malbork Castle (B/-/D)

Start early with breakfast at the hotel. Our first stop is Toruń, a charming medieval city known for its preserved Gothic architecture. Explore Toruń’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Key sights include the Old Town Hall and the house where the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus was born. Continue your journey to Malbork, where we will explore the largest castle in the world by surface area, a massive medieval fortress and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take a guided tour to learn about its history and significance. Continue to Gdansk for overnight.

Day 4 | Gdansk (B/-/D)

Enjoy breakfast before starting your day. Begin your exploration in the heart of Gdańsk’s Old Town. Highlights include: Main Town Hall, Long Market and St. Mary’s Church. Discover the European Solidarity Center, a modern museum and cultural center dedicated to the Solidarity movement and the fall of communism in Poland. The exhibits cover the history and impact of the trade union and its role in the political transformation of Eastern Europe. Visit the historic Gdańsk Shipyard, a site of significant industrial and historical importance. Learn about its role in the Solidarity movement and its influence on Polish history. Travel to Sopot, a nearby seaside resort town, known for it’s wooden pier and the monte Cassino Street. Final stop on todays tour is Oliwa park for a short walk, where we will also see Oliwa Cathedral.

Day 5 | Elblag & Mikołajki (B/-/D)

Enjoy breakfast before checking out. Depart to Elbląg where we will experience this unique canal system with a boat cruise through the grass, a fascinating engineering feat connecting Elbląg to the
Masurian Lakes. Continue to Mikołajki for check in and afternoon at leisure.

Day 6 | Gierłoż & St Lipka Monastery (B/-/D)

Enjoy a hearty breakfast to start your day. Depart for Gierłoż (Wolf's Lair), visit this former military headquarters of Adolf Hitler during World War II. Explore the site where the failed assassination attempt on Hitler took place. Continue to Święta Lipka Monastery, this historic Baroque monastery is known for its stunning architecture and beautiful interior. Spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring Mikołajki. Consider a boat ride on the lake or a stroll through the town. Overnight Mikołajki.

Day 7 | Zelazowa Wola & Nieborow Palace (B/-/D)

After breakfast we check out from the hotel and board the coach to travel to Żelazowa Wola. Visit the birthplace of Frédéric Chopin. Explore the museum and park dedicated to the composer. Continue to Nieborów Palace, together will we explore this beautiful Baroque palace and its surrounding gardens. Arrive back in Warsaw and check into the hotel, some time to freshen up before tonight’s Chopin Recital, a perfect way to end your trip with a taste of Poland’s musical heritage.

Day 8 | Departure (B/-/-)

Enjoy your final breakfast in Warsaw. Check-out and transfer, time to head to the airport for your departure.
