Lovcen Nature Reserve
This nature reserve is dominated by a mountain range oftenconsidered as “Olympus of theMontenegrins”. From the top of its 1800 meters, this tourist site offers an incomparable point ofview. The nature reserve is home to more than 1,500 animal and plant species as well as the mausoleum of Petar II, a well-known bishop and poet in Montenegro.
Durmitor National Park
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Durmitor National Park is located in the north-west of Montenegro. While hiking there, you will discover magnificent small glacial lakes and will be overwhelmed by the beauty of the Tara Canyon, the second largest in the world after the Grand Canyon.
Budva
The seaside resort of Budva with ist 17 beaches is one of the most popular in Montenegro. The picturesque old town was rebuilt on a small peninsula just after an earthquake that devastated the coastline in 1979.
Island of Notre-Dame du Rocher
This hand-made island is nestled in the heart of the idyllic setting of the bay of Kotor. Do not hesitate to visit the small chapel which was build in the 17th century
