Day 5: Warsaw (B/-/D)
Today we experience a miracle of reconstruction and conservation. Our guided sight-
seeing tour reveals the historical center and the heart of the capital - which was
restored after World War II to its former splendour, so carefully, that it is now included
on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Also we see the site of the Warsaw Ghetto, so sho-
ckingly evoked in Polanski’s recent movie "The Pianist". Afternoon at leisure. Dinner
and overnight in Warsaw.
Day 6: Warsaw – Czestochowa – Auschwitz – Krakow (B/-/D)
After breakfast we drive to Czestochowa to visit the 14 century Paulite Monastery at

Day 7: Krakow (B/-/D) based on 30 persons
Our morning sightseeing tour begins with a short walk along the streets of the former
Jewish district of Kazimierz. Next, Wawel Hill, crowned by Wawel Castle and Wawel
Cathedral. A walk up Grodzka street leads you to the heart of Krakow, the Rynek
Glowny, or main market square. There, the large Cloth Hall is the perfect place to
shop for local souvenirs. The last sightseeing stops are the twin-spired St. Mary’s
Church and the Wawel Royal Castle. In the evening, enjoy dinner at our Polish Polka
Party. Overnight in Krakow.
Day 8: Krakow – Budapest (B/-/D)
After breakfast our scenic drive takes us into the foothills of the Tatra Mountains and
we cross into Slovakia. Next, we approach the Hungarian capital Budapest. Dinner
and overnight in Budapest.
Day 9: Budapest (B/-/D)
After breakfast, enjoy a tour of Hungary’s capital, situated on both sides of the mag-
nificent Danube River. In Buda, on the right bank of the Danube, you will view a grand
panorama of the entire city. Cross over the Danube bridges and see how the imposing
