This morning we are heading to Potsdam. Experience a brief visit to Grunewald sta-

Cecilienhof Palace, host to the Potsdam Conference in 1945, where the ‘Big Three’
met to decide the fate of Germany and the post-war boundaries for the war-torn
Europe. Guided tour of one of the castles in the park of Sanssouci and stop in the
picturesque old Dutch quarter, which has a relaxed charm of its own. Return to the
hotel. Dinner and overnight in Berlin.
Day 10: Berlin – Leipzig – Nuremberg (B/-/D)
After breakfast we will head to Nuremberg, a city famous for its old architecture,
delicious beer, and the site of the trials of Nazi war criminals. On our way we will
stop in Leipzig and enjoy a short city tour. See Augustusplatz with the opera, the “Ge-
wandhaus”, a renowned concert hall and St. Nicholas Church, where Bach composed
some of his organ pieces. Dinner and overnight in Nuremberg.
Day 11: Nuremberg (B/-/-)
This morning our local guide shows you the city that once acted as the unofficial
capital of the Holy Roman Empire. After the Second World War, Germany rebuilt Nu-
remberg and the historic buildings with the original stone to help return to the former
